Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it?

Don't get me wrong, I love my bonneville, I breath my bonneville, but will it ever end? I spend in just parts alone about $3000 a year. I am a licensed mechanic and I still spend that much. Man, if it isn't one thing then it is another. Other than the engine itself, everything is new! I have so much invested in this car it isn't worth getting rid of but then a lease on a Hyundai is $200 a month..hmmmm fk no! I think about it and then I realize that if I was to buy this car new it would cost be almost $50,000 CAN. I can afford it but I will never buy a new car. I just bought a 94 GM Sierra 1500 in excellent condition today for $3000. I have a 94 Cavalier that I bought a year ago and all I had to do in a year was an oil change and 2 wiper blades. Where is the justice? Guess which car I am going to sell...yep the cavalier. Somebody smack me.....

I belive the happiness i get in my car when it is running overpowers the hassles i've had......

Trust me, i've been in the same position. I've thought about getting a different vehicle seriously many times but i know i wouldn't be as satisfied when i crave sportiness, luxury and utility that i get in my bonnie...

3k a year is a bit high, if your spending that much you should buy a parts car. lol...

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. No major mandatory repairs on the Bonne yet (a few "Because I wanted to" ones). So far just the Fuel Pressure regulator and regular maint.

But I feel your pain, man. I've had more than a few "rolling parts cars" in the last few years.
