Not planning much. Maybe a dinner and a Bday cake is all. Usually the best present is a day away from everything, but I dont know if that will go over well with my family who always wants to make a BIG thing out of it. lol

No it is not!! A birthday is a time to celebrate your life. I think everyone deserves to be treated to a great day on their birthday. If not for your birthday you wouldn't be here ;)

I am so with you I want a small birthday thing nothing big I am not like that and also congrats on another year my bday was last month

I'm the same way. Nobody here knows my b-day except Admins and Mods. I don't like bringing attention to myself. No need for all the hoopla....

well I even mean irl and all my ex wanted to throw a big thing and well.. one of the many reasons lol

Welcome aboard Tony! I agree the not making a fuss thing.... Usually it's a cake and a nice dinner with my family. Next year I've been told I'm having a party... ugh! :roll:

I feel I need to clarify myself regarding this topic. I never implied having a big party and all the works. I meant to enjoy your day and make it special for you. For example, my birthday- I got to go someplace I have wanted to go for many years, I also got to sightsee soemwhere I've never been, and got to ride on a trolley (something I haven't done since I was 9 and was visiting San Francisco). It was a special day. I didn't have a party but it was one of the most special birthdays I've ever had. ;)

I dont like all the hoopla about Bdays and the like. For me? The simpler the better. I used to like birthdays, but all that Ive been through in my short 34 years, have been ALLOT and well, I just would like a nice quiet non argumentive day with no major set plans and relaxation. See? Simple!! :D

I didn't have a party. I went to Memphis. You can go to Memphis any time your heart desires :lol:
