Macros and Such (56K warning)
Here'* my first run with my new camera. Any suggestions (Sol?) are appreciated, I'm trying to get better at setting up my shots. My camera has some manual modes, which are beyond me, that'll be my next task to learn.

those look good. the biggest problem I have is keeping the whole item in focus, or at least have it "more even" as opposed to one single section being "overfocused"

Thanks.
I really like the shot of the ornament.
All I can say is, learn those manual functions. Full manual gets a little tedious, but play around with the Aperture Priority mode. Once you learn about apertures and depth-of-field, you can do so many great things.
If you want any specific advice, lemme know.

Sorry about the apparent red x'*, they look fine on my end but that'* just me. I would have used photobucket but then there would be exporting and yada yada. Thanks Sol, I'll work on that and PM you if I have any questions.

The key to macro shots is a steady hand, proper lighting and subject matter. I have some really good macro shots, but I dont want to hijack PJ'* thread.
Upload em to PB cuz I cant see sh**
