Default what a loaner

ok so i have a story

this is from the dealership we bought the 93 olds delta 88 from and then that broke so we got the 95 plymoth voyager from them
and the
first trans- spider gear rod shattered and cause and explosion
second trans-electronic
third trans- overdrive wouldnt kick in
and then we got this last one put in and it lasted for about 4 months
then the other day my mom trys to leave the house and come to find out the torque invertor is locked up
that was funn gettin it out of the garage bymyself
so while they were putting in trans number four the one that the torque invertor locked up on apparently the dealership and my mom made a contract saying that if this fan brakes again we wont fix it will finance you with another one
that sounds fine
so they tried getting us a 99 ford winstar that they had to bring from one of there lots towards sprinfield il
and the poor guy who had to drive it up here
went about 30 minutes and realized that the heater core was effed up
well my mom was allready at the dealer to make a payment and to get the new
van
and she says look i need a vehicle and i need one NOW!!!!!!!!!!1
so they give her a 97 buick lesabre with a series 2 3800
engine block heater 6 way power seats
the works
and im thinking crap last loaner we got was a 95 mercury sable and the timing chain broke on the way home
well not this thing
the original dealer sticker was in the glove box
in 97 in was 25,000 dollars

any way i was in heaven

but sad to say it wont last long
saturday we get rid of the loaner and get the winstar

Almost sounds like you need to find a new dealer. Sounds like he has a lot of issues with his cars.

I know about those chrysler mini-van trannies. When the torque converter sticks, do a flush on them. I had one and the Chrysler dealer told me to flush the tranny atleast twice and it worked. Something about crap sticking in the valves or something.

Not much experience on the ford, but my brother has a windstar with a dead tranny right now.

Good luck and I hope things work out. Gotta love the die hard 3800'*.

windstars had problems with upper intake manifold gaskets causing lean codes on the 3.8L engines. Simple fix but somtimes hard to diagnose

When I took in my '93 to get some body work (about $1300 total) they gave me an 06 Lucerne with a few toys like remote start, park assist, etc..

Pretty good, much better than the previous H body cars, but it needed another gear or two.

When my VW needed a coolant fitting, they tossed me into an EOS Hardtop convertable... Same engine, and DSG as my car, final gearing was different, and it was softer/quieter all around. Really shows how hard edged my car is, driving them back to back. I just wished it wasn't 15 degrees outside at the time...

Dynaudio sound system was pretty damn good for car audio..

Those 604 trannies can be a big problem if they aren't given fluid and filter changes when they are supposed to. It'* not actually the converter seizing, the problem is caused by the gunk in the shifter solenoids locking the trans into gear. Usually the trans will go into "limp-home" mode long before it gets that bad, but it sounds like the one you got was beat on. The spider gear problem is also related to the trans fluid change interval.
