Winters finally HERE!
And I called work off for the day.... maybe the rest of the week. Looks like I might be able to ice fish my lake after-all.

I heard you and upper NY could get whacked with snow. Here it'* just the wind and cold.
Having choices is good, but doesn't do well when the wife has to go in. hehehe.

John what kinda set up you have when ice fishing?
I have seen some set up canvas tents, even a wood burning stove or propane inside, where the exhaust comes out the ole top of tent hole!
Hot chocolate - Fishing - in serous sub zero!

Set up? Hmm. A plastic chair with a thermal seat on it. I don't get huts. I dress for the weather and put up 5 tip-ups far apart from each other and use a jigging pole while waiting for a fish to strike a tip-up. Doing this it is real hard to imagine being in a hut. But then, I always come home with FISH....I'll post some pics after dinner.

Posts like a Turbo
Plugged in? C'mon, mine started just fine here in the insane low temps.
Of course, the optima yellow top I put in made a huge difference.
Only thing I hate, is my doors don't want to seem to seal right. I really have to slam on the drivers door to get it to catch all the way and seal around the edge. Even then, sometimes it seems like it is tweaked open a little, and the wind noise drives me nuts.
Oh, and its cold enough that somehow my wiper nozzles froze up. Even with the non-freezing kinda washer fluid in there. Not sure how that happened, but trying to drive home looking through a muddy windshield wasn't fun. Or safe.
