Default 2002 GP 40th ann

Stopped into the dealership where I bought my GXP and Jim has a 2002 GP 40th.. The Nascar style with the roof fins and that sexy spoiler.

One owner car.. Met purple. Chrome factory wheels (they gotta go) 2 tone black and purple leather. 47000kms. asking $12,995 I could likely pull it out for 11,000 cash.... It'* got me thinking... She needs a newer car not a brand new one but newer. Question is with the Stock set up can I pull boost out of it and maybe slow it down just a little?

I know how to make it faster thats not a problem btu would a slightly larger pulley pull enough boost out of it to detune it?

Depending on how my meeting goes tomorrow I might just snag it up. Pics later today.

Just curious, why do you want to make it slower??

Your foot would probably be the best / easiest / cheapest way to make it slower.

you are not allowed to own an L67 if you plan on making it slower

you could just always take the SC belt off to run ZERO boost

Thats why... I don't want her just jumping into a blown car and well melting tires off every 3 months.

As I thought some of us do NOT read the entire post

I want this car I really do there are is a lit of potential in them we know that but I want her in it for now.

2002 was not the GP'* 40th anniversary. Has somebody turned that car into a poser?

Ummm Will want to retract that ?

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2095369

the 40th Anniversary Package includes a rear spoiler, hood ducts, chrome wheels,
Dark Cherry paint, and unique red-and-grey interior trim

I believe also that this was the first year for the Nascar styling I think this became the Nascar edition in 03

My 2001 Special Edition has almost the same appearance package... spoiler, roof rails, different tips, (hood vents?)

But yes 2002 was the 40th and all of them for the package are metallic purplish i believe.
