Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Since the nice car topic was so fun, How old are you guys?

Are you sure about that or just guessing. The napa thats a few miles from my house is OWNED by someone that isn't much older than that. I guess he was given it by his dad when his dad retired. I'm not sure his exact age, but its right around 22 or so.

I wonder what the youngest licensed mechanic in MI is??? I'm 17 and I'm licensed in a couple areas...but I wonder if there is an age minimum?

Bought myself a PS2 for a birthday present Oh no wait, that was just splurging. I bought myself a new catalytic converter, a front fascia, and a set of brake pads

19, my current car knowledge is limited to basic stuff, swithing out parts and such, but im starting the ford asset program at pennsylvania college of technology this fall, i hope to gain the skills enough to do with that bonneville what ive always wanted, cut it in half, remove the whole back seat section and shorten it by about 2 feet, since its FWD i dont tihnk it should be too difficult, its just a question of if i can shorten the frame without compromising the strength
