that is the strangest way i've ever seen to mount a roots style charger...but strange is good. i like it. i also like the "stock" look at first glance. thats a doubletake right there.

Its still under constuction lol. I still have alot of work to do. The charger needs rebuilt, I need to switch trannies (current one has no synchros in 2nd), clutch axles, MegaSquirt Install, and alot of little thing. I dont have too much tome to work on it because of working swing shift.

Its slowly getting done tho, I hope to be participating at my local dragway again by mid summer.

A couple tips:

1) How do you keep the nosedrive bearings partially submrged in SC oil? It was designed to run with the bearings partially submerged. Now they are only gonna get splash from the gears.

2) If you get a SC from a 94/95 it will have epoxy coated rotors. You can spin it slower and make as much boost and will be a little cooler. You'll know one by the fact that the ribs on the middle of the case don't go all the way down to the base.

3: If it'* been painted with anything other than the original paint, it is likely hurting heat transfer.

I'll add a bit.....next time you have it off, drill and tap a different fill hole AND a drain where it'* convenient. I don't see how you'll be able to fill or drain it on the car otherwise.

My teenage daughter rolled and totalled a Neon recently. Same color, too. Hope the curse doesn't hit you.

About the oiling, I assumed that the eaton chargers could sit at basically any angle and still keep oiled. yes the case is ribbed the whole way and isnt painted.

The taping for a oil drain is a very good idea...
