You have got to be freakin kidding me
So, things are bound to get better for me right???
Can't get any worse, right???
WRONG
The wife was taking me to work and the girls to school. Come up on a red light, go to stop...
brakies no workie
FUN way to start the day. Luckily there was only one oncoming car and teh light turned green and it passed us so we could swerve into hat lane and avoid hitting ANYTHING. Once it slowed enough the wife threw it in park (no thrilled about that but could have been worse)
I was able to push the car off the road and its parked legally.
We have AAA so I will have them tow it home tonight and hopefully my father in law can come fix it soon
Just what I need right now. The important thing is no one got hurt.
Was about half way to my one daughter'* school.
Called the boss to let him know I'll be late, and he met me at the school and took my other daughter to school and my wife home. I'll use his van to pick up the kids this afternoon.
Life, what can you do.
For religious out there, please pray for me. I really need it right now.

Sounds like you have a cool boss, mine would have told me to hurry up and get my a$$ to work. Did you pop a break line? if so its easy and cheap to fix... I will pray for the speedy recovery of your car.

Well, the fact that no one was hurt, I am calling that nothing short of a miracle from God,
He certainly has my attention..
I have to give the wife credit, too for staying calm and a might fine piece of driving.
I have been having problems with a leaky wheel cylinder in the rear, guess it is time to fix it.

As always, you'll be in my thoughts. Things are gonna turn out right for you. That Habitat for Humanity project sounds like a good way to get you back on your feet. You sound like you have a great boss, too. Heck, I know that if my car broke down, not one of my bosses would care. In fact, I know of a few that would probably fire me over it
Keep the faith, man.

Were hanging in here, but my grip is slipping.
i honestly don't know how much more I can take.
The car is really a minor problem right now.
It was just another straw on the camel'* back. Hopefully it won't break soon.
The Habitat think will be a God send, just trying to get through til then.
Good to know there is light at the end of the tunnel though,

Things have a way of turning around. I expect the odds are in your favor for a dramatic turn of luck.
Keep your chin up. My luck always turned when I was down the most, and expecting it the least.
