PRD2BDF 03-18-2008 08:48 PM

what would happen to your Millas?

ddalder 03-18-2008 08:49 PM

Personally, I prefer the ones you have. It's all about what you want though. You need to be happy every morning when you head out and see it in the driveway ;)

Cody, I would imagine I would sell them here.

xDRx 03-18-2008 08:58 PM

Chrome the rims you have now. Perfect :D

1993 SLE 03-18-2008 08:59 PM

hes gonna give them to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Jimbo i like the Chromies as long as you dont curb them, and get the locking nuts stuck on so you have to drive around on 3 20 spokes and one Millie

also Jim, if you ever wanted to sell the 20 spokers for a good deal, i know a local Boston guy with a white 00+ that would use them for the winter

Gumball 03-18-2008 08:59 PM

I have yet to find a re-chrome shop anywhere near me.

The NE pontiac guys thought there was a place in Brockton that did them. The problem is that its like 300 per rim, because or shipping..... California or Canada is the only place that can legally chrome dip a rim....

Jim W 03-18-2008 10:01 PM

I'm thinking the other way around... chrome goes Very well with DARK cars, but its sorta lost on white cars, stick with what you have, its a much better look (even though the one's you have there do look good)

harofreak00 03-19-2008 09:30 AM

price?

GXP_Vince 03-19-2008 09:42 AM

Chrome FTW

Jim W 03-19-2008 09:47 AM

Pete, I get what you are saying, but I'm not a fan of contrasting colours on cars...to distracting Chrome on white is complimentary, whereas chrome on black is contrasting.

Here's my logic. I don't like black rims, at all. However, they are most suited to a black car, visually it works in my eyes. Anyhow...

/idiot opinions.

Pearl_bonnie02 03-19-2008 10:09 AM

Jim, I really like your rims, but I think the chrome ones would just make your car POP!!!!! I say go with the chrome.

banned3800 03-19-2008 12:06 PM

Jim I love them both.... You have really good taste in rims Boss...

The Chrome on that White car would make me Drool 8)

Someone do a PhotoShop!

Shadow 03-19-2008 03:28 PM

Tough choice. Your car looks great with the rims you have not sure how the new ones would look.

petraman 03-19-2008 03:29 PM

Not a big fan of chrome at all, unless we're talking about bumpers or something, and I've always admired the rims you have now. They just work. I don't think the chromes would work at all, but that's just my opinion. Are the Unknowns still out of the picture? If you really wanna change it up, I'd suggest those ;-)

97BonneSSEi40th 03-19-2008 08:49 PM

I like what you have but I think the other would look even better. (and I think Cody wants the old ones really bad! ;) )

looong4 03-20-2008 12:51 AM
