Default Lumina'* suck, need help

My gf'* Lumina is at my house right now, after I just got back from dropping her off home. We are getting ready to sell it and cleaning it up, and as she was cleaning off the dash the freakin car started chiming and wouldnt stop. I pulled the fuse to stop it for the night but I dont know what the hell is wrong with it. I unplugged the battery for 1/2 an hour and that didnt work. I would just leave the fuse unplugged but it is tied into the break lights. So, does anyone know where I can get some help? Its a 1992 Lumina 4 door with the 3.1 engine.

One more thing, the chime is ALWAYS on! Even when the car is off, or when its on and in drive! Its annoying as hell.

easy thing.. find the fuse for the chime and pull it. But, if it is annoying enough to constantly alarm you.. it is probably annoying. Knowing GM, it could be just a fluke.. and there really isn't anything wrong.

Absolutely wrong. Bonnevilles chime when the brake master cylinder is dangerously low. It'* a signal of impending doom and total loss of braking. Disabling the chime as an annoyance is very dangerous.

Disabling it overnight until you can investigate further is fine. We had a member recently that did this. Only through our urging did he realize he had a serious problem.

When I do pull the fuse, I have no tailights, which is kind of dangerous, and is not good when trying to sell it either. I really dont get this one at all
