Oh man, you do FSAE?! I do SAE Mini Baja at my school, worked my way up to co-captain the team next year, even though I'll only be a measly second-year student.
http://www.2759.ca/images/bajasplash.jpg There's not much wiring for us, and Baja is good because it doesn't take all that much money to do it: the school administration gives us very little aside from shop use, but this situation may be improving soon. Our car in action :D targets for next year: - at minimum a high/low gearbox to replace the CVT, maybe a 5-speed - refinement (we're reusing the frame) - weight reduction, etc - floatation (we do the Baja East competition) - have it float a little higher in the water, re-do water propulsion accordingly |
Good stuff on the baja SAE comp. There is a club here that does that also.
A little late but here are some pictures and a video. All are taken with my room mates camera which I am not really used to yet, so excuse the quality and any wierd stuff. https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...h_000_0115.jpg https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...E/000_0108.jpg https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...E/000_0109.jpg https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...E/000_0110.jpg https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...E/000_0117.jpg https://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c...E/000_0120.jpg |
