wondering about selling
Hi all,
I'm planning on getting rid of my 97 bonneville SE 40th anniversary edition in April/May of this year. I was just wondering if people are interested in it, and what sort of $$$ could be expected.
heres some info about the car:
410,000 km'* currently.
bad stuff:
purple drivers door and fender (got hit by a guy, not serious damage - no structural damage)
performance/touring buttons dont work
good stuff:
fully loaded: air, dual power seats, leather, steering wheel audio controls, power mirrors etc etc
set of winter tires on steel rims just bought at the start of this season.
Anyways, let me know!
Dave
PS - yes it has alot of km'* however, the car is in incredible shape, both mechanically and visually. I currently drive it 250 km'* a day without a problem. Sure there are the odd problems here and there, but nothing major.

I had a 92 Park avenue I wished I got rid of while I could still get something decent out of it. Little things were wrong here and there, but than the whole thing kinda fell apart at once. To bad about the diff colors, since you thinking new, trading it in might have given you your best value.

Hi,
I would say that your car is still very desirable to people wanting a good dependable 4 door car despite the mileage.
And it’* a 40th special edition to boot. Rare car to even find.
So it needs a little TLC but hey it’* worth it to someone out there.
If I where you I would start a new thread in the for sale section here and title it
‘Gauging Interest in selling 40th Anniversary'
Worst that could happen is you might not get a whole lot of attention right away.
But to someone that is looking for what you have may stumble upon your thread and want to buy it.
Todd.

Give her away
If She was my car I would find a kid who would lovingly restore her and then give her away on the promise that she always visits and the kid must respect her forever. Simple solution for a simple problem. ( I have a pretty wicked sense of humor once you get to know me ) Good luck with the sale.
