Default Calling manual trans/Mopar Gurus.

Ok, ever since I got the Shadow, the shifter has been very, very sloppy. Today when I was removing my back valve cover to change the gaskets, I came across both of these shifter cables that look to be missing parts obviously, but I do not know what is missing.. Pics -

Iirc, there was a a plastic ball-like thing on that divot thats sticking out in the second pic.
