supercharger on a Ford 5.4 24V engine update
Well all I can say is DONT USE OCTANE BOOST IN A ROUSH SUPERCHARGED ENGINE!!!
I added a bottle to mix with the 1/2 tank of 87 and 1/2 tank of 93. Well after about 20 miles of driving Check engine light came on and the Scanner says I have a missfire of cylinder 3 and 4 etc.
Just had the truck towed to the ford shop again. Dont know whats this little mistake is gonna cost me but oh well you live and learn by your mistakes.

Just picked the truck up last night. The tech was not there cause it was after hours but I was told the new plugs they put in when I got kit installed were not compatible so they had to put the OEMs back in. Strange thing is there is alot louder whine now than there was before? Sounds like my truck needs a powersteering pump everytime I step on the gas. Well hope it holds up longer than 2 days this time.
