Redheaded mistress
So........there might be a mistress in my life and I'm apologizing ahead of time in case it works out for me. I am NOT getting rid of the bonny but getting something to save some miles on her.....a 2003 VW GTi 1.8T.......tur-tur-turbonium!!!!! If the price is right she'* mine 
Sorry but I've always been a V-Dub guy at heart......the onlt thing that sucks is that it'* the Triptronic trans......basically auto.....but I'll have a little arcade style shifter to push up and down for control through the gears!!! Wifey'* got a 2000 Audi A4 1.8t which gives me a good idea of how she'll go......lets just say this.......Boosty.....give me a little time and ol Ei will be lookin at the a$$ of the Dub!!!! :P

It helps that the VW is about 2000 Lbs lighter than a Bonne

What? What? What? Oh I'm feeling faint....Just kidding, honestly I don't blame you, I've alway liked those cars, I want the R32, they're insane. oh and I <3 the new GTI (hatchback version) I'll be your buddy through this ordreal, you know they're going to harass you so I'll stick up for ya.
(and I have no doubt the VW will kick Grandpamobile after some heavy modding...)

One really cool thing about this car is that it already has some aftermarket rims on her......some nice Konigs w/a polished lip!!!!! Their oxidized and corroded a bit but nothing I can't fix......a little sanding and polishing and clearcoat and they'll be like new!!! Their only "16'* which I believe are smaller than stock but with some new springs and struts they'll fill in pretty nicely!!!

That'* very important that you do not go ricer on a VW, I would keep all outside mods subtle, no cheesy and unnecessary groundeffects, body kits and abnormally large wings etc...
But you got pics of the car? is it a private party or a dealer? If it'* a dealer, the pics may be on autotrader.com

My father-in-law works for a Chevy dealer and it was a Trade-in.......so he'* gonna get me HIS price on the car and if the #'* work out she'll be mine!!! No pics yet, but soon if she ends up in my driveway!!! I'll have to LG her as soon as she gets home too!!! As for "ricing her out" NOPE.....look at my bonny......I could have riced her out but she'* somewhat subtile (except for the scoops).....don't worry.....I got lotsa plans for her!!!

#2.....Have u ever driven a 1.8t with the triptronic trans.....u can go + or - gears whenever u want without a clutch and has some really good pickup stock!! 150hp stock, but feels like more w/the turbo.....upgrade the chip, exhaust, new downpipe, intake, It will put me well over 200hp!!!
