But the kick is.... i have been out of a job for 2 weeks due to be layed off so i cant pitch in. So my brother is fronting my eating money and gas money lol. Ahh well sometimes it pays to be the older brother. I will bring the camera and take a few pics and post them maybe tonight

As soon as we got off the jacqu cartier bridge, we knew we were in the wrong part of town.. Lots of homeless people and what not. But i was like well.. i can get us where we need to be from here. So i drove down about 10 blocks and i knew i had to hit a left so i went left about 5 blocks. hit a stop sign and stopped. started to drive, then I heard alot of squealing and looked up. An escalade was heading right for me. I slammed on the brakes and looked at him. There was two poeple in the back seat and one had a gun right to the drivers head. Right when he got next to us he swirved and the gun went off. We were all watching and the window exploded, lots of blood. Then the car was swirving hitting like every car posssible (from the car behind to about 5 cars back). Then went up on the side walk and ran over atleast like 30 people. Swear to god, people were flying all over, it was horrible. he escalade went through a window in a shop and right out the other side and hit more people. I was going to jump out and tend to people (being a nurse) but decided it was not worth my life (well i still wanted to but the gf and brother said they would leave me there). So we took off.


Probably the most scarest thing i have ever saw. And i know i will never forget it. I am not going to sleep well tonight. Seeing that guy get shot in the head, the blood and all those people getting ran over. The part that sticks out the most was a little girl around like 13ish she got ran right over and was laying right on the sidewalk and others looked like dolls just flying around.

I dont think i am going up there again. And i have been there probably 100 times in my life and never seen anything like that. I dont know if it was a freak thing or a bad part of town but enough to make me not want to go back. I am not sure if the guy was car jacked or like a drug deal gone bad. I know the escalade had rims and was fully done up, so maybe a car jacking.

This would be all over the news. Any exaggeration on your part? What part of town were you in? I'm sure Montreal has its rough areas, but not that rough, its not freakin Compton or south central LA for gawd sakes.

Anyone find anything like this online? A carjacking resulting in murder and 30 pedestrians hurt+ a building being run into is a news worthy story. What day did this happen?

I swear to go. I have been looking at motreal news and havent seen anything yet. All i know is i got off the bridge went about 10 blocks or so, a few homeless guys were around one cam to my window, i took a left went a few more blocks and then all this went down. It will be on the news. There is atleast the driver shot, atleast 30ish poeple hit (people just standing on the street and sitting there at tables, ect), and i would have to say close to 10-20 cars hit and wrecked.

It just happened less then 3 hours ago. As soon as it happened, i said " I am getting the **** out of here", i got back on the bridge and begun to try to find my way home.


PS. I am going to PM Don (firebuick) he is from montreal and have him watch the news or something.


I kept gagging, i thought i was going to throw up i was so nervous. I am a nursing student and i have seen some pretty bad things, i mean really bad, and this tops it. I dont know if it was because it was real, and it was one car away from us and could have been us or what but i still have butterflies in my stomach.

Today? what time? I'm looking at the Montreal page on www.cbc.ca and there is nothing. Its a pretty newsworthy story if it went down. I have no reason not to believe you, it just seems....over the top? Things like this don't often happen...if ever.

Trust me i opened my door i was going to jump out and help the girl, and my gf looked at me and i saw fear in both here and my brothers eyes and they were like, they have a gun and just shot him drive. I was thinking the same thing "things like this dont happen", i tell you what, it will be a long time before i go back. I know it was a one million chance of happening but i was literally shaking. I mean i have been to harlem and what not and saw people get car jacked, pick pocketed ect and nothing compares not even close.

as for location, all i remember after thinking about it, it was maybe 2 minutes away from chinatown. After it happened i remember driving thorugh chinatown.
