Default I see Bonnevilles. The're everywhere.

Everywhere I go I see a Bonneville. Around the corner form me there is a green 93 SLE for sale. I don't know how much or how many miles, but it definitely needs a paint job and the leather is in pretty bad shape. Might be worth picking up for the right price if the mechanical stuff is good. Then, my fahter-in-law just bought an 05. Very nice, black. He got them to come down form $19,000 to 13,000; his payments only went up $4 a month from his 1998 Olds 98. He even got them to throw in free pinstriping (silver) and and 2 oil changes, and the fixed the cable that makes the trunk release work. The wierd thing is that they only had one key for it, and they wanted like $80 for a second one. And they didn't have the owner'* manual, and I forget how much they wanted for that. But he got them to give him a free key and get the book for only the shipping cost. (like $2). I'd say he got a good deal. Oh yeah, the car had like 25,ooo miles.
Then, I took my car to the mechanic for our annual PA inspection and the mechaninc pulled up in a green 93 SSEi. I offered to trade him, but he wasn't interested. He did, however, say he would sell it for $1,500. Obviously I don't have that or I would be driving it right now and not posting this.
He said it has like 200,00 miles, but it is in good shpae. I trust this guy and think it is a good deal.

Yeah. I dirve my wife crazy doing that. And she always saying " are you on the bonnveileclub again?" And like every story I tell her starts with " I saw this thing on bonneville club...". I think she is going to make me join a 12 step program.
But I really do see them everywhere. Every morning on my way to school this guy in a white SSEi blows past me, right about the same place every day.. I bet I see at least 20 a day.
It helps that I live right near a Pontiac dealership.

I know. I thought about getting fliers or business cards printed and sticking them on windshileds of people'* bonnies when I see them parked. Or handing them out. I don't know if I like the idea of putting something on someone elses car though.
Oh yeah, my cousin got a 92 SE not too long AGO. i HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET, WE DON'T TALK MUCH CUZ SHE LIVES LIKE 30 MINS. AWAY. i TOLD HER THOGH IF SHE GETS RID OF IT LET ME KNOW FIRST CAUSE iICAN USE THEPARTS. SHE USUALLUY TRASHES A CAR IN A OUT A YEAR.
Woops, didn't mean to bump the caps lock.

Erie usually is pretty good about about having a good representation of Bonne'* on the roads. Almost everytime I go out there is at least one or two that I pass.

haha, same around here...i swear when im on the freeway, i see a bonneville going the opposite direction...at least every minute.

There are like 20 in my town, but for some reason I never see them parked..i guess people love em too much to park em...

but everytime i see one parked, i stick a car in the window seal just above the driver door handle...even if its the same car...just keep doing it...no one has joined yet

Its only a matter of time.

Make sure you stick a BC card somewhere on their car...WE NEED MORE MEMBERS!!!

MOS, you killin' me man....

And tallbump...go to General Chat and see the sticky there. Harofreak00 has killer BC business cards already made up and he'll gladly send you some for a small fee. Many of us already have them and annoy the local Bonneville drivers with them.

Then you too can stick a car in the window of the next one you see, lol.
