That is totally cool! Now when I watch Cops I will know what they are talking about with those codes. I would really love to get a scanner!!! My co worker has one and gets to hear all the stuff going on in and around town.

They do vary greatly from department to department. And there'* alot more, too. I'll dig up my docs this weekend and put a few more up.

For the Police here where I live:
10-6: On Break
10-7: In Service
10-8 (Badge Number or Squad Number) Clear
10-50: Accident Not Serious
10-51: Accident W/ Minor Injuries.
10-52 Accident W/ Serious Injuries, fire, etc.
10-54 Accident W/ Fatal Injuries and or Fatality.
