Radiation Experience
Anyone have any radiation experience here?
Kinda in a bind, need some math help. |
Ok, I should clarify what I"m looking for, there's a LOT of math involved in this lol.
I'm working with intensity's vs distances, and time. Problem I'm stuck on right now is this: 75ci Intensity I need to find XXSOURCEXX------------------------------------------------- Iridium 192 100' Distance from source. Then I need to find the time to recieve a 30 MR Dose at 300'. Hope that makes the question easier for you guys. |
The answer is always C

Are you in a med class?
|
WAHOO!
LOL I found the formulas on the net, but I still can't do it.....I get time tomorow before my certification test to review and get help, I'll take care of it then. |

It's 42. Sorry Nate, can't help you unless you need advice on how to operate in a radiation contaminated environment... |

|

Ummmm, not sure how to ask, but shoudl I plan on relocating???
Nate and radiation just don't give me the warm fuzzies, y'know?? |
Nah....Unless I'm working within a few hundred feet of your house or something LOL
It's all good though, I half ass'd my way throught the math, 6 questions and got 4 of them right on the test, so I passed. That's all that matters to me, now I get my raise ;) |
And that's all that matters
|
Exactly.
Well these equations are all algebra, and I can't do algebra to save my life. Especially something like the "Inverse Square Rule" |
