this is just a little ramble, but I love the fact that I can quit a job when I cant stand someone I work for! I work for many ppl so quitting on one doesnt really effect me alot.
I dont envy the ppl that are stuck in a job with a jerk of a boss like the one I just quit on, If I wasnt somewhat of a person with some sence of guilt I would have done it the week before Christmas when she needed me the most! I just wanted to say it on here so my quitting can echo on through the internet ...LOL....

And then she has the nerve to phone me after I quit and tell me she no longer needs my services...LMAO!!!! Ummmmmm didnt you get it the first time sweet heart ....I ALREADY QUIT!!!!!!!!!!LOL!

Again....just had to let that go, now I feel 100% full of beans!~ Ready for my day...tata!

Im almost 30 and my first job I quit cause I couldnt stand them, I used to grit my teeth and bare it, now watch out ppl, I got some good old business backbone blood runnin through my veins!

I am one of those...how did you put it?...Oh yes, "ppl that are stuck in a job with a jerk of a boss..." Not that I am in a job like that any more, but I was...for 7 years. A total control freak who didn't pay her employees (hourly) for overtime, worked them up to 120 hours per week (no kidding), and made life generally miserable--especially for those who started looking for other jobs (I wasn't the only one--four in five months out of an office of four full timers. One actually stayed on!)

I have been there, and there is nothing more liberating than to say see-ya! My last week (I gave two weeks notice), my ex-boss was out of the country, otherwise it would have been hell warmed over.

I can sympathize completely. I'll tell you, one of the solutions is to work for a very large company. If you don't like your boss, you can move to another area. I've worked for hp for 12 years now. 2 different States.....my boss right now is great. Been with him for 5 years. We actually have alot in common. HIS boss is a different story, but I have my boss to insulate me from that. Plus I work nights, and my whole management chain works days, include my direct super. I don't have people breathing down my neck. (which might explain all the time I spend bouncing in and out of the chat room......hmmmm.....)

Way to stick up for your beliefs! Now go out and DRIVE! It always makes me feel better.
