Default whats the temp in your house?

ill have to make this short, my fingers are cold... i just seen it drop to 48* on our thermostat...








furnace quit working two days ago... it started on fire

the landlord is working on it, but is waiting for parts, while we freeze our asses off.. im going to spend the night at the girlfriends, and i have been hanging out in my heated waterbed all night...

btw.. its 3* outside and feels like -16* according to weather.com

we keep the furnace set at 64 in our house...
most people complain about it being really cold in our house but to us its fine
and right now its like +12 F outside

i dont really care to pay the electric bill for that

no bathroom heater

the landlord brought over a SMALL space heater, said it would get us through the night... LOL! maybe if i was laying on top of it.. but this is a 4 bedroom house!

It'* around 70 right now but the thermostat will go down to around 66 - 68* when we go to bed

Andrew, our heat was unsafe a couple of years ago, so we shut it off at night. Stocking cap, socks, warm shower directly before bed et etc, you live up north and probably know all this

I'm betting this house has no fireplace either :(

Right now I have the windows open in all three rooms of our apartment, and it'* still 76* in here.
