You shouldn't be dissapointed. Thats the HO Quad 4. The standard quad 4 has 150hp. The HO has 185hp + in most cases a 5 speed + only 2800lbs. car. This combo if running good will do low 15s at around 90-91mph. They have nice topend and can take a 92 SSEi at high speeds with ease. This motor was probably one of the most advanced of its time. I love how these car mags are all over the new Civic Si with its ultra advanced 190hp 4 banger when Olds had just as good a motor...... in the early 90s.

Well, I AM NOT buying the Quad442, I need to have it towed and SORRY but I am NOT paying 400 bucks for a tow. i would rather buy the Cutty supreme 3.4 and drive it home the same day. 8) I really dont care if it breaks down, as long as it gets me to work and back until I can get a better car.

May I suggest AAA. $35 basic membership offers 3 seven mile tows and the 65 membership offers 3 one hundred mile tows (or 1 two hundred mile tow) iirc.

Well it turns out the 94 Silverado is a 5 speed and may only need a clutch and stuff related to it, I highly doubt its the trans.

Look, there's a blue 92-95 Bonnie here in town, for sale, running, in beautiful shape on the outside. You want some pics? I can get them, and the window price, on the way home next weekend. Should be reasonable.

Nope, new ride is already home. '92 Cavalier Z24, 3.1MPFI and 5 speed. Pics to come tomorrow.
