What'* Your Memorial Weekend Plans?
First off...here'* the history and meaning of Memorial Day (Decoration Day). Please take a moment and reflect on the sacrifices that our service men and women have made since the civil war, and that those sacrifices have keep us safe and free in the US.
--------------------------
The weather in Washington State is in the toilet and we are looking at rain, rain, rain! So outdoor activities are basically on the back burner.
My indoor plans this weekend include new struts and rear shocks on the Bonnie and the usual housework that is needed when living with a Mastiff.
I had a friend drop off 15+ pounds of Rainbow Trout that I will brine with my secret recipe and then smoke probably on Sunday. Yummmmy!
Other than that...4 days off work, lunch with some friends, a dinner date or two and hanging with Hazel.
So...what are you up to?

Going to the junkyard on saturday to pick up some odds and ends. Then, the top end is coming off of the Regal...again...so I can figure out what that ridiculously annoying valvetrain noise is that'* causing the knock sensor to go crazy, retard timing to the point where the car is undriveable, and causing backfires under heavy throttle. That might go into Monday, depending on how much I get done on Saturday.
Then, mountain biking at a nearby forest preserve, playing Team Fortress 2 (PC), drinking beer and home made frappuccinos, and of course, church on Sunday.

I arrived in my home town a few hours ago. Small town. Going to the local cemetery sometime this weekend. Visiting friends, relatives, in-laws. Homework. Back on the highway on Monday headed home.
