My first one was the cheep China adapter. It connected, sometimes, most of the time not. When it did connect, there was a very big lag on the information, like 1 or 2 seconds. The KIWI was 4X as much, but it connects every time, there is still a small lag, I think that'* just a bluetooth thing, but the lag is under a second, perhaps .25 of a second. The China adapters are also big blocks, and my OBD is under the steering wheel, so it'* right by my feet, I was bumping it all the time. The KIWI has a 6 foot cord and you can put it just about where ever you want.

Even with a 6ft cord, I bump my HPT cord all the time. Wish it came with a 90degree connector like my Scantool.net adaptor.
Either way, I'm gonna look into this!!!

Dude, a 90* plug would rock. I have that on my aeroforce. I found taking the cord over the column and then over to the passenger side helps keep it out of the way. I love this app. I can't believe how powerful it is. Even scans KR now. And the author keeps adding more features. Check out the free version.
