PICK A NUMBER FROM 1 TO 9
I'll post the answer later:
1) pick a number from 1-9 2) subtract 5 3) multiply by 3 4) square the number (multiply by the same number -- not square root) 5) add the digits until you get only one digit (i.e. 64=6+4= 10= > 1+0=1) 6) if the number is less than 5, add five. Otherwise subtract 4. 7) multiply by 2 8 ) subtract 6 9) map the digit to a letter in the alphabet 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc... 10) pick a name of a country that begins with that letter 11) take the second letter in the country name and think of a mammal that begins with that letter. 12) think of the color of that mammal |
grey
|
grey also
|
I'm a moron, I can't think of a country that starts with D.
|
wow I guess we all came up with the same thing. BTW, Denmark. 2nd letter being E, elephant being the obvious animal and grey being the color...interesting

1-5*3*12=144. 1+4+4=9
2-5*3*9=81. 8+1=9 3-5*3*-6=36. 3+6=9 4-5*3*-3=9. 5-5*3*0 6-5*3*3=9 7-5*3*6=36 8-5*3*9=81. 8+1=9 9-5*3*12=144. 1+4+4=9 At this point, you have to subtract 4 from all of them except 5, in which you add 5 to. This makes all of them equal 5. Then you multiply 5 by 2 and get 10. Then you subtract 6 from 10 and get 4. 4 then gives you D, and that is how you get D everytime. You are going to get d no matter what. |

And i've seen it before, so i'm smarter then you all. Cept Jen. Good to know us college kids are smarter then you guys.

Being smarter is all relative. https://www.ls1tech.com/forums/image...s2/soapbox.gif All these College graduate Engineers that International Paper hires to run their papermills are causing them to go downhill. They come in and try to tell someone whose been running the equipment for 15-30 years how to do their job. And ever since they've took over the Riegelwood Mill they have yet to make a profit. They need to hire people with experiance not just an education to the leadership positions. And they need to hire people with business skills not just Engineers.
