Perhaps some math genious can help me...

Just got back from the gas station with the tempo.

so what does 12.4 gallons for 117 miles come out too?

any ideas?

9.44 MPG

That's really bad.

BillBoost37 01-26-2006 03:36 PM

Yup..
Worse than my supercharged foot can do.

yes, you know, the mash the pedal, hope it feels like moving before the semi behind you decides to move you position.

Good thing that spoiler gives you extra surface area for the wind to push..

And you forgot a decimal, we know you meant 7.5MPH

 Somethings seriously wrong somewhere. I mean, I know that the Tempo wasn't exactly an ecologist's dream, but they got better mileage than that!

Do you realize that you could get a car that gets only 19 mpg and save about $3,000 per year? Or a slightly used G6, that gets 29-31 mpg and save about $6,000 per year or $500/month for the car payment? (Based on the low side of an average 12,000 miles per year and $2.50/gallon gas)
