dont think so. when i was in st martin, the airport was about 50yards from the ocean. the bar i went to the last night down there was about 100 yards away from it off to the side. it was amazing to see a few planes land and takeoff. gotta find my pics

It is not a chop. I have seen a video of the same beach with the people sitting on the beach recording the jets going over their heads. It'* really cool.

They are usualy spread out or there are more axles for an aircraft of that size

ryan wins...

These are some photos of St Marteen Airport, French West Indies. The planes impress most people on the beach, flying over just seconds before touching down at Princess Juliana airport. Paradise for the beach lovers, having a lovely tropical beach, and for the aviation fanatics that spends hours on end observing the very low flying skills of giant commercial plane pilots.

12 Boeing 747s operate daily to St. Marteen. The heavy jumbo is the most impressive of all and attracts the looks of everybody around

awesome place to go. landing was scary though. its like water water water whoa where did this airport come from? for the record, i puked over that wall at like 3:30 am
