I love oysters, the other night i had them at a restaurant (with hot sauce of course), I was little sad after they were gone, but behold, one of them had another oyster holding onto the bottom, sweeeet.

Only fried for me. Or smoked. Oysters, clams, mussels, our tentacled friends...

But never raw. Eeewww.......

Do oyster crackers count?

Here is a terrific recipe.

Shuck oysters into a stainless steel container, small one that will fit on top of BBQ Grill grate, with their juices. Add butter, 3 tablespoons, and one teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning. Stir occasionally while cooking other meats and veggies on the grill. Serve with the dinner or as an individual appetizer before dinner.

You can also put the oysters directly on the grill in their shells. When the oyster opens up the oyster is ready to eat.

Seafood Hot Sauce
1 cup catsup
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 to 2 tablespoons of Horseradish.

Makes me want to pick up some crabs and oysters for dinner tonight. ;)

BTW I am from the Land of Pleasant Living and grew up with Oysters and Crabs as food for the table.
