And now for the single people....
Valentines day is just another commercialized holiday to make single people feel warm and fuzzy inside.
But hey, happy valentines day!

Lol.... why aren't there any holiday'* to celebrate Single-Ness? I mean seriously..... why are there no Hallmark cards saying
"Congratulations for not marrying the wrong person this year"
or
"Glad to see you've maintained your individualism"
I mean really now!

As with anything there are 2 sides. Being single does have many perks that are celebrated. Being with someone has some perks also.
I like being single. I like to be able to do what I want, when I want, and how I want. I don't need permission to buy something or go somewhere. Freedom is a good thing.
There are times that I start to think it might be nice to have a significant other... like when it'* time to take out the garbage, fix the sink, or work on the car (just kidding)
I have to agree with Singscountry when she serenaded someone here or on another thread. That song summed it up nicely. We ain't gonna settle....
