Cars are NOT 12volts!!!!!

They run on a 12Volts Battery and are called 12volts, But when there running they are around 13.8-14.5 depend on the age, model, and type.

good video, this shows that the car runs on a "12v" based system, but is not necessarily 12V at any specific moment in time.

The alternator charges at roughly 14.4v and makes a parallel circuit with the battery and the rest of the electrical system.

This can cause some issues when running poorly regulated circuits, like those used running a single LED and Resistor. Many people will design circuits to run on 12v, and not take into consideration the variation, not only between running and off, but also between the electrical systems on 2 separate vehicles

That'* called normal, when the battery is charged, the regulator thottles back the output.

Amp/volts...let'* get as technical as we don't need to.

All this post proved was that you could post ***** for a moot point and spell properly. Anyone with a voltmeter dash knows that our alternators don't charge/supply at an exact 12volts. That'* merely the reference voltage for the vehicle.
