the one that got away

this should be an interesting thread. I was at the mall last night and saw a dark red 99ish regal LS and it almost brought a tear to my eye. It was nothing special but it brought back memories of the one I had just like it that got totalled 2 wks after I got it. I am sure I am not the only one with a car like that. if you want post the type of car and the reason it is your choice.
for my parents it was the 79 mustang that he bought new and got married in.

Soooooo many memories attached to this thing, I wouldn't even know where to start...besides the fact it was the first vehicle I bought all on my own...

 Miss that truck. I sold it after i was told by our old mechanic that the engine was blown. I talked to the guy i sold it to after a few months, he replaced the head gaskets and it ran perfectly.
The guy i sold it to completely trashed it.
Second Opinions FTW

My uncle has an '83 Scotsdale he's been through 350,000 + miles with it.

I should have never sold it.... I sold it because I needed to put another $2,000 into it to be perfect. Instead I buy the car I have now and I am $5,000 into it with at least another $700 to go.

Dumbest thing I ever did was sell that car. It was the greatest car ever made. Nothing can compare to my Bonneville. I miss it so much

(I hear it's finally up and running, though)

 She's in good hands so I don't feel too bad. I would have loved to keep it! I put a lot of hours into that car.

I will miss my first SSEi. It drives so well and looks hot (esecially under the hood).

Have fun with her Rick!
