anyone with experience with photomerge?

Every year I make the company deskpad calendar.. its my little project, and this year i
want the entire calendar to be made from panaramic photos... I did some testing in our
press room to try to master the effect... anyone have any tips to get a more seamless
effect?

I think you got it, buddy. The only thing that catches my eye is the light fixture on the far left. The really cool thing about your image is that I can keep typing and everyone will have to scroll all the way to the right to read my fantastic words. Keep scrolling people, there might be something funny at the end. __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ________________________________mattwazhere

you need to disable every auto mode on the camera for it to work right. I mean everything. control the brightness, color, contrast manually and match it for every picture.

then just use a tripod and rotate it.

so does mine pat, the thing is, most cameras can be set to manual mode where they do ot automatically control brightness and contrast.

Basically in AUTO mode the camera will reduce overall brightness if there are lights in the picture vs a picture of a wall where the camera will increase the overall brightness.

The trick is not more pictures, its just pictures with the same settings so they all have the same look and color.

I have one I did with microsoft paint where I did a 360 of my house...it worked ok.

for a true panoramic you need to make a jig on your tripod so that the camera rotates around the focal point of the lens not around the tripod socket. If you dont feel like doing that then you will have to just hone your photoshop skills
