I already bought it $1,800 '96 H4U, 125k, nice shape, silver/teal, ghetto golds, etc. Orig. owner was or played clueless about UIM/gaskets, etc. It'* date stamped 2002 though, huh! No leaks/loss, runs/drives smooth and strong. I intend to do the inevitable procedure myself very soon. With the power vested in me by the good people here through curious cruising around. I know about the sleeved/smaller stove pipe kits, the metal gasket upgrade, elbows, etc. By the way, I want to swap passenger seat with a base power one, no luck tracking one down web wise. Can it be done, any good sources, I'm in sacramento, ca. Also, I've been reading about airbag problems, can/should I disable them, just check/clean sensors, etc.? Couple more things; the plastic on the firewall behind the alt. is cracked up fairly good and slightly soft/melty, is this common? What'* the deal with the p.*. fluid res. hidden back there anyway! The tranny was rebuilt 25k ago, what do you suggest to maintain? Should I flush or just change with new kit? Fluid is so-so not burnt, not red/sweet. should I go synthetic tranny fluid and/or motor oil? I don't really ever chat, so bear with me as I cram a bunch of stuff in at once! THANX!!!
