Red Dust Falls on West Michigan

A cloud of red dust has fallen on West Michigan.
For many people, the dust showed up as dark brown spots that covered cars and windows.
According to a spokesperson for the Holland Department of Public Works, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the National Weather Service has informed them that the dust came from a storm in Texas area, which is being carried by jet streams.
Wisconsin has also been very hit by the red dust.
WZZM13 has received calls about the red dust from Holland north to Muskegon and as far east to Ionia county.
The Grand Rapids Fire Department Hazmat division has tested it and it’* not acidic.
The red dust should just wash off with water.
Watch WZZM13 at 5:30 and 6:00PM for more information.

My poor old Cutlass would probably be in better shape exterior-wise if it saw the inside of a garage sometime in the past six years I've owned it.
I get garage in summer cause of hail, but not in winter... My car is ICED right now. I remember an "African dust storm" when i lived in FL. I've seen A LOT about Mt. St. Helens going a LONG WAY, and after seeing it for myself once, i was in Awe.
