yeah what was the need for the Tbird?

Pearl_bonnie02 06-23-2007 11:14 AM

The t-bird is a 95 with a 3.8 liter. The "white" car in the 1 shot is my Bonne. The purpose of the t-bird is to keep the miles down on the bonneville because I've had the car 10 months and have put 21,000 miles on it already. The fate of the bonneville is unknown right now. I might refinance her, or sell her, not sure yet. But if I do get rid of it, it wont be until after summer.

And the 88 royale is my neighbors car

hmm wel I hope you can find a way to keep her.

MGRM. :) Mmmm. good color.

good luck with keeping the bonne leslie, and its great you're keeping the miles down on it. ;)

Well, I sure hope you can find a way to keep the Bonneville, however I will say there is nothing bad about NOT having a car payment. I sold my new Corolla after 11 months cause I got so sick of car payments.

Pearl_bonnie02 06-23-2007 01:04 PM

Yeah, that's the thing. My sebring was paid off and I loved not having payments anymore. But then I got a bug up my butt and wanted a new car and bought the bonneville. Now I have a $375 a month payment with a 21% interest rate and I'm having a rough time paying the payment ontop of all my other bills due to work issues. So I'm praying I can knock down my payment by atleast $100.00 b/c then I should be fine with keeping the bonne. We'll see...I love the car but I'd rather give her up rather than get a repo against me ya know? So for now, she is just my weekend car which is saving me a ton of money on gas. The BIRD gets awesome gas mileage so that helps quite a bit.

Funny, thats almost what my Corolla payment was too. I had car payments for years, but none that high. Really hit me home when I told my kids I couldnt afford to get them nice back to school clothes, I was standing at my front window at the time and glanced out the window at my then 4 vehicle driveway, the shiny Corolla caught my glance and I realized that I had no business having a nice shiny car with a payment, when I had 3 others to drive, and could not afford decent clothes for my kids. Promptly sold the Corolla and my beloved Silverado, put the Bonnevilles back into service full time and now I can buy my kids clothes they wont be ashamed to go to school in :D

Our Bonnevilles will never win appearance awards but they are all ours :D

Sometimes you just have to do what makes sense in the bigger picture. I sure hope you can refi into a lower payment though. Once its paid for you will have a nice car for many years.

yeah, but having two bonnevilles rules. beyond not having a car payment, thats a plus

Have u thought about a low interest loan to pay everything off and not pay as much per month?

Just putting that out there.... (whistles)

Does anyone know when they stopped putting the 5.0 in the Tbirds? Wiki says 94 the 4.6 replaced the 5.0 but my brother in law had a 96 with the 5.0. No, I'm not sure if thats stock but I do know he bought it that way.
