Default Snow Storm 2004 (w/ Pix.... 56k Warning)

As you guys know, we got dumped on last Thursday with 97.5cm of snow.
(See link below to previous post)
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=14367

When viewing these next pictures keep on thing in mind.... we had completely NO SNOW before this storm hit. All the snow you see fell in a 24hr period.

My friend snapped this photo of his parking lot....

The same friend snapped these while they dug out another friends car...

Downtown Halifax.....

As you see the sidewalks are not cleared.... and neither are the side streets...

At my parents place...

Under that snow... and under the blue tarp is my 91 SSE... we tried the remote starter on her after clearing the exhaust pipes... but she wouldn't even turn over... I hope she'* ok.

My folks Envoy....

Picture of the house..... can you see the Envoy? It'* in the driveway... hehe

Here'* a closer view.... can you make out the antenna on the left...

The back of the Envoy...

The long 8hr process of digging out...

Driveway cleaned at last....

Some pictures taken from my balcony...

A CAT clearing the HIGHWAY.... one scoop at a time.... too much snow to push...

The underground garage was turned into a parking lot.... while they cleaned the outside parking lot...

Knight Fire.... safe and sound....

Unlike some others that got hit by snow plows because they were burried...

The enterance to the underground parking.... when the door was first opened it was completely blocked by snow... and no sunlight could get in...

Truck burried by the snow..... the owner is in T.O.

I think it'* a Civic.... but it'* kinda hard to tell under the snow... hehe

Front of my apartment building...

A big snow mound.... pretty typical...

School has been cancelled for 3 days now....

Now remember.... all that snow fell in 1 DAY....

Your car might be lacking oxygen... probably not a good idea to try to start it the way it is...
