Hey I didn't even notice till now that we have the same cars! Exact models too

Sorry to hear about your rust, I feel for you. I'm keeping both my eyes on my rear wheel wells this winter. Snow is a drag :(

Do you have any rust at all? How about bubbles under the fuel door? I've heard of many people with that. My friend has a 94 SE, 150,000 miles, with absolutely no rust besides a couple small bubbles in one place. Except he was able to fix it up no problem. It blows my mind. I have to have the whole panel replaced and painted. Well all this talk about my rust is getting me in a bad mood. Better go before I get too p'd off, this isn't my computer and I may break the keyboard.
By the way, I put some gold pinstriping around the grill and my fog lights, if you can tell from my pics. It looks pretty sweet in person, you said you had gold stripes, maybe you may want to try that. It made a big difference on mine. Just a thought. I'll be posting some better pics at my cardomain site within one or two weeks.

Actually, forget that. I believe your hood protector covers that area where the striping would be around the grill anyway. But maybe around the foglights. It'* a nice subtle touch. Brings the gold together throughout the car.
Good luck on your finals.

My hood protector was destroyed in a crash months ago. To see what it looks like after its been fixed look at the link in my signature, you can't tell it was crashed by a Dodge Ram.

I got a new hood protector but I've decided to leave it off till spring time to allow the paint to cure.

As for rust, I have a sliver at the bottom of a few doors when you open them up. As a little minimal rusting around the bolts in my gas door area. All in all its rust free (knock on wood).

This car is 100 times better with rust than my old 1970 Dodge Coronet was. Every year I had the rust cut out in that beast.

Well...red and green are complimentary colors.
But I'd have to say red wins this time. Don't have my intake yet!! I await the day I get more POWER. Unfortunately I have to fix this wheel bearing and rust problem first ($1200 or more... ). Imagine what I could do with $1200 of performance mods. Anyway, I'll at least get my plugs, wires and stat and that other small stuff out of the way. Hopefully I'll have the intake before Jan.

I think both our cars had the same track record as well.

Once I bought my car I replaced both hub beerings, the rear wheel cylinders, brake rotors, and brake pads (ceramic upgrade).

It was nasty!

But now shes much happier

Pretty close track record (Except for the rust of course, you lucked out so far). Good thing my dad can fix brakes (and anything else). My brakes were horrible, had no pads left, started grinding the rotors. The rear cylinders were bad and just a lot of rusty debris from the drums. Not good at all. I didn't notice when I bought it that there were three different types of tires on it! The front were the same (had very little tread) but the back ones were different with a lot of tread. AND the left rear one had a leak in it (though the guy said he fixed it but he didn't) Should have noticed, damn salesman at the dealership ripped me off, at least to some degree. When I buy my next bonne I'm being more careful. I know what to look for. But for now I'm fixing it up and am going to mod the hell out of it.
