New Years Eve plans anyone?

whats everyone doing for New Years Eve?

Here, installing the new track lights in our kitchen to kinda kick off our facelift in there, then when evening hits, we all gather at the folks for some spirits and laughs....

hehe, yeah I think thats on our beverage menu tomorrow night, thanks to my middle sis and her husband. I'm not much of a drinker (other than wine) but they want to mix me a "tequila sunrise" to sample  Been a few years since I was intoxed lol

I probably said this last year, but I prefer not to go out on "Amature Night". Started calling that when I was a cop. People that never touch a drop all year decide they have to go out and get stupid on New Years (and St Patty's Day). Bar fights, drunk drivers, dumasses in general. Y'all can have 'em.

Unfortunately, I also forgot to swing by the liquor store today, so it looks like it'll be a sober New Year's Eve for me. The Missus might have some wine, but I can't stand the stuff.

Don't worry about me, MrsCrzy is the DD here. Went thru a Citizen Police Academy a few years back, they had a nice long demo with a volunteer who had a meal with 2 mixed drinks about an hour before the class, she appeared completely sober and rational, yet could not walk the line, touch the nose, and still blew a .7 on the meter. A few reflex tests showed impairment also. Made a believer outta me that buzzed driving can be just as bad as drunk driving.

Now as for the other idiots on the road, not TOO worried since its only a few residentlal streets from there to here. The family that lives far and away are staying with the folks and not driving. I agree and find amusement with the amatuer night comment
