New Job Update... I Quit My McJob!

I started today with my HSN job. IT was pretty disastorus! first caller. Needed to know the order number and where to send payment. It took me 9 minutes to get it while putting her on hold to get help. 2nd caller wanted to know about a hair style on a show. 8 minutes later I still couldn't get it up. She just said she'd look it online. 3rd was the worst, I transferred her to the WRONG department, But I got her back, But somehow on 3 way with sales assist. I wanted to have sales assist up and a disconnect button popped up and I thought that would do it. Turns out it disconnected BOTH of em!!! 4th and 5th was spanish in accent so much I had to transfer them to spanish. 6th was the first one that went 100% right!! 7th wanted to know why she got a slip but doesn't remember what it was, and I had to transfer her to Customer service. That went fine.

All that in 2 hours. The training makes it look so damn easy but its abit harder than it looks.

next shift is 7-9 cst.

Wish me that it goes better... So I don't have to crawl back to McWork

thanks,

Technically I don't work for HSN. I work for West which is contracted to provide quality (like I did with my first shift, not) service to HSN.

West at home is the program to allow me to do this at home.

EDIT: \/

Those videos are funny

Its been alot better than McDonalds. I mean. I work at HOME. No gas, no dumbasses to deal with in person, no one yelling at me.

;)

But you will get it

whew wow this shift I had alot more calls. Thankfully more went better. Worst thing I did was transfer some people to customer service in which I actually didn't need to.

But its my first day. So I can do that :D

it's $7.50 an hour. But some hours they wil up the mimimum to $8 or $9 to get u to work that hour.

And there are some special drawings if u get a compliment or work a certain hour.

Not bad so far (i'm working now and you wouldn't know it, I haven't had a call in 10 minutes!)

LOL, same here!

Quick! somebody call DirecTV tech support!

OH YEAH!!!

I just had a talk and I told her I was DONE! I'm not a McSlave anymore!!!! :D

no more greasy coating on my body, no more hands smelling like onions all the time, no more dealing with ppl in person, no more bull$#!^ hours, no more working early as hell, no more iced coffees, no more burning myself on the grill, no more " so much stress I think I might have a nervous breakdown" stress <Regarding that. I was under alot of stress alot of the last few days and it drove me to just quit today. Plain and simple I couldn't take it anymore.
