New car for the wifey
Since I'll be working in Indy and driving everyday, at least for now, I need a new car to daily drive. But, as all married men are probably aware, the wife always gets the new car and I get the hand-me-down. LOL
We test drove a 2003 Subaru Forester. It'* a very nice looking car, lots of room for the kids. The flat 4 is a very interesting motor. It'* in great condition and has 126K miles. They're asking 7700 for it.
Opinions?

Gas mileage isn't spectacular for a 4 banger, and the 3200 pound weight won't help that cause. I say test drive it and see what you think.

No rust to speak of. The ONLY thing I found wrong with it was that the ABS light was on. Obviously they need to fix that before I buy it.
I found it online:

I was looking into these when looking for a car but they were too expensive for the miles that came with them (about the same price you're paying with 150k miles, ouch). I've read that these have iffy head gaskets, but it depends on how the previous owner treated it, and whether or not it was taken in for the head gasket recall.

It doesn't look like a bad car, but why did you pick this specific car?
