I demand a recount!

Don't bother with the recount. Venom will just go back into the old posts and change the results anyway. Not to mention the fact his adopted son (Rico) will rig the outcome.

I am shocked to think I would do any thing dubious. Me. Ole little "Honest Venom" Salt of the earth I tell ya. Ya,.... a standup kinda guy with the character and reliability of a Saint. Hmmmm, sounds like a good time for a rant editorial.

Tricky Dick got a bad rep for doing as politicians have done perpetually. His Staff just got their foot caught in the door and an ever increasing media presence in our day to day life jumped on it as "The Crime of the Century". Nixons's Foreign Policy made us somewhat hated, but highly respected throughout the World. Now where are we? Nixon solved a horror of an economic mess the Vietnam War created by using things todays Politicians havent the guts to enact. They just print more money and throw it in the air hoping to make all happy and let the next decades take care of themselves. (it's not going to work) It didnt work for Carter and it wont work for Obama) Nixon made the responsible, thinking choices of wage and price controls, interest caps, 10% Tariff on imports, and stopped the crippling effect of our Gold being poured out to Foreign goverments in exchange for US Dollars at a time just afer the 1960's saw us needing so much imports to support the huge explosion of the middle class. All this was undone when a Peanut farmer was elected and tore down all Nixon had done, calling it unfair and in doing so created double digit inflation. Most here are to young to remember how hard it was to raise a family and buy a decent house with 16% Mortgage and even higher.

I'm old enough to remember my dad P&Ming about Carter and the high mortgage rates. I said he will never again vote for a Democratic. I grew up with open eyes, one side says if you have $100, and another has none, you must give that person $50, because that's fair. The other side says, if you have $100, and another has none, then that person can go out and earn $100 just like you did, that's fair. I earn my own money, I don't take hand outs.

The mortgate on my first house (1981'ish) was 19.5%.
