the nerve of some people *stupid people rant*

I was sitting in the Ingles parking lot today in my mom's Chrysler. She had ran in to get a few things, so I stayed in the car. I noticed pulling in, a right new Acura TL sitting right next to me with a middle age woman in the seat. I was sitting for a while, when a man came out and started loading groceries into the trunk of the Acura. I just glanced over, then went back to scanning the parking lot (habit of mine). A few seconds later I hear a faint THUD and feel the car shake. I look back and his driver's door is right against our back pass. door. I look up at the guy, he looks me directly in the eye (by this time he's getting the "if looks could kill, you'd be a dead man" stare from me). Go to get out of the car, and at that exact second the jumps in the car and WOTs it out of the parking lot. I cought his tag on his way out, but I'm doubtfull anything will happen b/c it didn't really do any damage to the Chrysler. That and it was a New York tag. If I had been in the Bonneville, I prolly would have tore after him b/c I'm tired of Ingles people beating on my car. I have 2 dents in my car from where people at Ingles have ran buggys into it.

Chris,

You have your license  I would call up the old Highay patrol and see what they could do. Could that be considerd a "hit-n-run"?

dude....deal with it.....if you care about a car you will learn Very Quickly to park at the FAR end of the parking lot and walk to the store

dbeast420 09-01-2006 08:56 PM

You don't know my luck, Pat, the second I park at the far end is when 5 cars are gonna circle around my car and start wailing away on it with doors.

edit, plus I have bad knees and can't walk to far to much.

Time to buy a $200 Ford... they're a perfect grocery shoppin car.

Gumball 09-01-2006 09:09 PM

I hate parking lots

It's funny that you mention this.

Today I ran some errands with a friend. He drove his van. We stopped at the bank. I waited in the car as he went in. Shortly after a girl in an old Probe backs in next to the minivan. She was extremely close too. She opens the door right in to the van. I look at her like, "WTF," and she doesn't say a word and walks in to the bank. If that was my car I would have gone off on her.

Later on, we went to the grocery store. Walking through the parking lot I see a bunch of girls get out of a car. One of them smacks the door in to the car next to it. They didn't even think anything of it.

The nerve of some people...

If I showed you guys the dents on the side of my car from people doing that you would cry. Thats what happens when you work at a god awful busy grocery store with a rather small parking lot. I've even been inside my car on my break and someone drove into my car. He took off immediatly.

People are fucking stupid, and do not give two shits about other peoples property. I just try to park beside other employees that I know will be there for the day.

I did that and when I came out of the store I saw an empty cart gaining speed in the parking lot heading straight for my car. I had to chase after that thing and luckily I caught it within inches of it hitting my car. I was so mad!! Sometimes you just can't win

Wow, odd, the exact same thing happened to me today too! Wow, freaky

Here's the story.

I went to my old high school to get my transcript, I was sitting in the car writing down what I wanted to say to the clerk, this soccer mom in a Honda minivan was backing into a space in front of me, I didn't know this at the time, I was in the process of writing "I was tol.." when suddenly the whole car lurched backwards several inches. WTF...I thought. The stupid fata#$ b*&ch slammed into the front bumper of my Bonnie. It wasn't a gentle thump, it was a hard thump, the f&%king b%$ch didn't even get out to check, I got out to check, no damage at all. odd... so I wasn't going to terrorize her if there was no damage, however if there was, god forbid......

Your gonna kick yourself in the ass for not doing anything. Just cause she caused no visible damage, doesn't mean she didn't screw your transmission.

SSE14U24ME 09-01-2006 10:38 PM

everytime Jeff's been hit it always damaged the bumper brackets or whatever they are called but there has been no real damage to the bumper itself.

PRD2BDF 09-01-2006 11:04 PM

MyLittleBlackBird 09-01-2006 11:40 PM

I make it a point to either park as far away as I can from othe cars or just take up two spaces.

Soon, im going to invent the car Tazer wheras when one knocks into it, tazers will shoot directly at the crotch of said person and knock them the hell out!!

Maybe then people will start being careful opening up.

Doppleganger 09-02-2006 11:55 PM

I'm the kind of person to follow said offender to their next rendevous with a parking lot and make sure I bring my bronco there.

Then, unkowningly open the tire carrier, tailgate, door, whatever with a GUSTO, and thud said offender's car into the next time zone.

Old rusty trucks are the best.

Be careful taking up two spaces, that kind of stuff will get you keyed at times. But revenge is best served cold.

GonneVille 09-04-2006 02:30 AM

I watched someone do that to me when I had my Taurus. I waited til they were out of sight, then keyed their door. All the way down to the metal, hard enough to leave a crease. As far as I'm concerned, smacking someone's door like that is vandalism.
