Need your prayers everyone....
 

Hey Bonnie lovers this is sweettisha aka Kennginn's girlfriend/ daughter's mother. I'm here asking that all of u pray for me because I might be facing a very hard spot in my life...i'll find out this week if i have the disease called lupus.

For those who know what lupus is, you know how serious this is but for those who don't...lupus is an autoimmune disease...the antibodies that are suppose to protect the body against viruses, bacteria and other foreign materials loses its ability to tell the difference between foreign substances (antigens) and its own cells and tissues. The immune system then makes antibodies directed against "self." There are 3 different kinds of lupus :Discoid lupus (attacks the skin), Systemic lupus (can attack any organ of the body...the most severe), and drug-induced lupus (occurs after the use of certain prescribed drugs like for high blood pressure or hypertension but symptoms are similar to systemic lupus). There is no cure and it can be fatal (because it can attack any major organ) but like cancer it can go into remission. It's not contagious (so dont think you can catch it). There are ways of fighting it but I DON'T WANT IT AT ALL!!!!!

As u all know, me and Kenn have a little girl who is 3 months today (well 12 weeks but wont be 3 months technically til the 25th) and I'm trying to be as strong and unstressed as I can under the circumstances (Kenn lives in Illinois and me and the baby live in Ohio because I'm trying to finish school...I have a year left). So you all can imagine how crazy this is. I'm trying to live for my baby girl and I have everything to live for.

Kenn is so close to all of you (closer to you all than he is to me), I felt that I had to let you guys know bc you're his other family so there is no reason that you all shouldn't know so if he needs you guys support, he knows he has it. So please keep me in your prayers. Thanks guys (and gals :wink: )

You are definately in our prayers and thoughts. It sounds like you have a positive attitude and that is half the battle right there. Good luck and let us know when you find out.

You and the little family will be in all of our prayers as you find out exacty what is going on.

I'll definitely say a prayer or two (or three...) for you and the family. Be strong and you'll get through this.
