Wireless service
I'm looking at phones for me, and my family. We don't use many minutes during the day, my mom has only once gone over her 200+100 weekday minutes, and i haven't touched mine.
T-Mobile has this plan... $50/month 2 lines 400 Minutes. Full GSM service. They have a good selection of phones. This is a national plan, so the calling area is the whole country, no roaming at all, and no long distance charges. Basically the only thing you have to pay for is going over daytime minutes. My mom will be going down to Florida this fall for an extended period of time for family business, and this will all be nice.
Also additional lines are $10/month, which is great if we want my bro to get one when he starts college in fall.
Who here has T-Mobile? What do you think of it?
Anyone here moved their number yet? We plan on doing this.
If anyone has anything that might work better for our situation, Lemme know!!

We had T-Mobile family talk plan. 2 lines. It was OK I guess...spotty coverage here in Oklahoma. customer service was typically a wait but who isnt these days.
We have Cingular now, a little more $$$ but better coverage, still a long hold time for a real human though
Overall, I liked TMobile and thought we got our moneys worth.

i haven't heard much about t-mobile, but avoid Verizon like the PLAGUE. They tried to overcharge me well over $1000 in the first three months. The problem: They forgot to put the minutes i got a month into my account

I do remember a time when Verizon was in league with Satan. My step daughter and her husband had them, and had to fight them tooth and nail over something. I think they are "under new management" now, though

Many consider them to be at the top of the industry. They are the biggest I think? However their phones aren't discounted much for us, so it won't help us too much.
