Default Need advice on '95 Chevy Lumina wheels...

Hi Y'all

Got a friend in dire need of tires and is on a really tight budget (like, she'* running recaps now cause she can't afford anything else.) She has a 1995 Chevy Lumina.

My thought was to give her the 5 tires and rims of my '90 Bonneville to get her by, if they will fit on the Lumina. The Bonneville is running 205/75R14'* on steel OEM rims. I know both cars have the same 5x115 mounting studs, but I am concerned about the backspace and clearence if she tries to run these tires and rims on her car.

She'* in Nebraska, so before I ship the tires out there, I'd like to get some feedback on whether they would fit Ok on her car.

Thanks in advance,

I'm no car expert, but i don't see why they wouldn't work. My son'* last car was a 98 Lumina and i think that he 15" tires on it

only issue might be brake calipers on the front. I had 16" 1998 bonneville 5 spokes on my 1998 Lumina LTZ and I needed a 3-4 mm spacer on the front. not sure about 14" rim though. Should work if it clears the caliper.

Yeah, that'* what'* worrying me. After a little research, it looks like the offsets are the same, but there'* no way of knowing how big the Lumina'* rotors and calipers are. Since they never sold it sock with 14" rims, I gotta go find one in a junk yard to measure them vs. the Bonneville

I will see if my brother can snap a picture of my lumina with the stock 16" rims on it. that might give you an indication. not sure if the LTZ are different.

my crosslaces never fit the car with a spacer. the 5 spokes did however.
