They Just Keep Getting Better (Meet Summary, Now with Pics)
Let me start off by saying...What an incredible success. The Early Spring Ontario BonnevilleClub meet and the first of 2004 went off as a complete success!
Your attendees were
Minnesota:
OlBlueEyesBonne
BonneMeMn
Smellbird and his good buddy Ryan
New York
bonnie94sse
Aviator327
New Hampshire
Miami (Hailey was represented with a bunch of keyrings..lol)
Ohio
Rogue
Flipper
Mini Rogue
Ontario
Jim W
sse1990 and his girl Renee
We had several Bonnevilles and each generation was present
1990 SSE, 1992 SE, 1993 SLE, 94 SSE, 1998 SLE, 2000 SSEi, and a 96 Aurora
Friday: I ended up working half a day, field a bunch of phone calls from various road bound members making their ways to Mississauga, the MN crowd had dealt with a lot of effy and difficult weather, but were making decent time. They stopped and met up with Allmachtige who unfortunately couldnt make it up this time. Rogue and his family arrived at the hotel first, while I waited at home for the MN and NY crowd to get to my house. Some minor traffic issues and crappy directions on my part (sorry boyz) we finally all arrived safely at the Travelodge. sse1990 had just called me an hour earlier to confirm they were on the way....and wouldn't you know it, I was expecting a silver Malibu...but no...a white 90 SSE pulls in! Mike and Renee had grins from ear to ear. The weather was fantasic and we shot the breeze for a bit and we all go acquianted and re-acaquainted. I wanted to allow for some free time to let the road weary stretch their legs a bit and get settled in.
We all kinda did our own thing for dinner, but 10:00 that night...it was time to head downtown. We got all ritzed out and got ready for some big city action. Todd, Mike and Walter decided to stay back at the hotel. Jason, Martin, Seth, Ryan, Peter, Amity, Renee and Kendra and I piled into 2 cars and off we went! The Invasion to the Big Smoke (Toronto) had begun. We arrived at Mink around 10:30 and had a few celebratory bevies. Jason, Peter and I toasted before a round of Tequila and Seth..lol...well, wait for the pics to get loaded up, but he PIMPED up RIGHT OUT OF THE HOUSE..!!!!
We danced the night away, Martin bustin it down to some tight hip hop beats while the rest of us worked up a good sweat. By 1:30 it was time to head out, but Ryan and Renee weren't quite ready...we had to drag em out by the ears!!
We cruzed back to the hotel (only one police scare..I'll get to that soon). We passed out at the hotel.
Day 2 Saturday
By the time the cobwebs were all cleared out it was almost 10:30, some folks had gone for breakfast others...slept! I went with Ams to meet up with Mike and Renee and bring em back to the hotel we stayed at. By this time we were ready for the Bonneville Mod Day in St. Catharines Ont. My uncle and aunt were gracious enough to let us use their greenhouse to bring the cars in 1 or 2 at a time to mod out. We drove to St Cath in a very impressive convoy noting some very interesting sights along the way. I will let the pics to the talking once Todd gets home to upload the pics.
We arrived and brought 8 Ball (Todds SSEi) into the greenhouse....3.2" pully swap, then Peter brought in his 94 SSE and changed his serpentine belt. Then he and Jason worked on a cool electronic project that I will not talk about...Pete...that one is all yours bud
Todd took the SSEi out for a few AutoTap runs and convinced me to take the Aurora out for a run...we'll post the results (Impressive numbers for both cars). Jason, Peter and I took turms takin 8-Ball out on the farm roads...
My Uncle Frank had made reservations for us at Lina Linguines in St. Catharines for 7:30, we convoyed to the restaurant and had a great meal (pic...yes..lol, incoming...) My uncle Frank bought us all dessert in advance, it ended up being a nice suprise
I dont know how it happened, but Jason and I swapped cars for the 1hr ride back to Mississauga. I gotta say for a 93 SLE, the Purple Pearl is a damn nice ride. I will let Jason talk about the Aurora and his experiences when he arrives safely back to Mankato (or Lakeville...anyhoo)
We downloaded some pics onto Todd and Jasons laptop and then took a drive to my house late Saturday night to get a few goods. We stopped by Pauls house to see if RLD was there, but sadly Paul was out with his GF and wisely took the 89SE with him...sorry boys. Then we got back to the hotel and the 3 of us hit up BC in the hotel corridor! 3:15am zzzzzzz
Day 3 Sunday
We all got up by 9 am, and realized the good times were coming to a close. We all hit up a local Tim Hortons for our last breakfast and said our goodbyes. A final convoy to the QEW and the crew was headed home.
Great memories, lotsa laughs, good times had by all. From street meat, to 90 or 91 SSE Special Edition to Mini Rogue playin on the tow motor, I know I had a riot...
Stay tuned for the pics and vids, you will be mighty impressed
Share your thoughts here folks, Im sure I missed things, so, lets show em what they missed

Once again, sorry I missed it ...sounds like you all had wonderful time. I'm glad Amity got to go and see what you are all about...I've been telling her what a great group you all are constantly for almost a year now...and I'm glad she "represented" me :P with something important to me (I almost sent the key with the ring, but that'* just a little too important you understand ).
Well, I enthusiastically await the videos and pics...get 'em up soon, okay?

In Renee'* defense, she was an innocent bystander, it was actually Ryan and I who wouldn't leave. Renee was just watching us dance...or as some people may call it, making fools of our selves
