My Ideas for Bonneville Fest (Even though I know no one)
 

So far from what I have seen the plan is comming together! :D

I really think that one day on the weekend should be to gather and show off the cars and really get know each other. Maybe even a show and shine and even discuss something for the fall. More people will be able to show up fri-sat. I think maybe early fri. would be a good chance to do something like that. Maybe even at the drag strip....sounds cool to me!!
:idea: I have organized a few shows in southern IL and did not spend much money at all. If you just talk to companies, they will give you products, $$$, and gift certificates to use for your event. All you have to do is advertise durring the event for them. Food and Soda vendors will do the same or at least give a generous discount if you will advertise for them durring your events. Same goes with car part and accessories dealkers. (door prizes & awards) Also if you talk to Pontiac (GM) they might be able to show off some new cars, poducts etc. and even sponsor the event! By advertising I mean simply just hang up their signs durring the event.
:idea: :?: It may be to late to do a ton of this, but at least it will help produce a better event and not dig into your pocket book. Also if you would make up a form on the net, people could pre-register and you could have the $$$ to get things for the event and know what T-shirt size they wear!
Just a tip and maybe it will help produce an event that the will grow bigger than you can imagine. or you don't have to listen to me at all! :!: Either way I am ready to have some fun!!!! Please don't drink and drive! (wait until were parked!)

Hotel?
 

You need to get a hotel posted very soon!! Also if you set a forum to get peoples e-mail addresses, then you can give people all the info at once! Then you wont have so many questions to answer and we wont have to look all over this site for info! 8) I hope to see everyone soon! :twisted:

Our boy Allmachtige is hard at work (I hope) making things happen and has worked out an initerary of activities, but lets get some ideas flowing.

He will be back to share what he has thus far, but its good to see some excitement about this event :D

If he needs help organizing, then thank you for offering 8)

Drag strip, picnic/show day, T-shirts, stickers, Autometer (maybe), etc etc.

I've been busy as hell and its pissing me off because I the progress is slow getting this stuff taken care of, but I swear I'll have the hotel finalized this weekend.
