Default Drove a C6 today

Had one come in for service. The front rotors were warped and needed resurfaced. I've driven LS2 powered GTO'* many times, but that engine pulling a plastic car is a hellafa lot faster! An interesting note: Car has no ignition cylinder. It senses when the key is near the car. At which point you simply push a green, glowing button on the dash and it fires up. Had my cell phone cam with me!

Our Solstice has that steering wheel (+ some nice buttons if i may say so) and cost less than half.. Although we don't have a v8, and can't fit golf clubs in it (not that anyone should)..

They are neat. Does it have the buttons for entry as well with the keyless system?

Hopefully one day you'll get the chance to drive a C6 Z06 which has the LS7. It has about 100 more hp.

Chatted with a Mallet guy or two @ the First National Solstice Convention, talked with a guy who put an LS1 in on his own for WAY cheaper, etc.

They are nice, but you gotta get the leather wrapped ones... I HATE plastic wheels.
