What a nice Saturday to take a ride
Well this weekend was me and my GF'* 6yr Anniv. Sso we decided to take a day trip out to NH almost to the Border of Keene, NH Hope you enjoy the pics. The sights were amazing and my POS viewfinderless dig camera needs to be replaced
I saw these on Junction 89 in NH off 93N and I had to stop. I was second guessing though since I had to play chicken to just toget out of my car, but I did,. The two lane highways are kinda narrow.
As we continue down Junction 89, at one point by Exit 5 it just opens up and this is what you see while your driving down the highway.
We got off Exit 5 and turned around and took the back roads to Henniker NH where we took pics of the Pats Peak Mountain. You can probably tell its a ski resort in the winter.
This pic was taken in the same area as the mountain just a few feet away I tried hard to not get the road in the pic, but this is what I mean by Viewfinderless camera. This is my Favorite though!!
After we left Henniker NH we went through to Contookcook NH and I took a few pics of the Contookcook Damn. I loved the View!!
Last was our final destination for a nature walk in Hillsboro NH. This walk happens to be along a brook. It was awesome and got the heart going pretty good too!! We saw Wild Turkey, but those suckers were too fast and quickly disapeared 10 feet before us.
I only brought two floppy discs with me for my camera and I had to choose which pics got better resolution and which ones didnt, but I deleted a few too just to make room for more better pics. It was a great time and it gave me and my GF some time alone to hang out which was cool since we dont do that much these days. Thinking of maybe having a meet and doing a ride through next year around this time. Theres a camp ground in Henniker NH we could all crash and party at ok Nother thread nother time.

Thanks Tracy, Thanks Everybody. I usually try and take some decent pics. This time I lucked out. I was playing with some settings on the camera, which was made after 2000 It has a floppy and a Smart Media slot, but I still need to buy a smart media card, which I plan to do soon so I can get full potential out of the Camera.
A bunch of areas on the highway were beautiful. I wanted to stop and take pics, but I drove by too quick to stop. its actually nice though, because your driving along and theres a bunch of these little openings that look wonderful this time of year. Maybe theres another trip planned
All in all we had a great time.
